How What Up Can Help

You don't need to know which technology or service you need before getting in touch. Start with what you're trying to accomplish.

How it starts

You don't need the answer before you contact What Up

The first step is a short conversation. There's no charge to talk about what you're trying to accomplish and whether working together makes sense.

Not sure what you need? That's okay. The first step is simply a conversation — about what you're trying to accomplish, what's in the way, and whether What Up may be able to help.

Types of help

Practical help, shaped around the problem

01

Problem discovery & requirements

Help clarify what is actually happening, what needs to change, who is affected, and what a practical solution needs to accomplish.

02

Technology options & evaluation

Explore realistic technology approaches, compare options and trade-offs, and determine whether existing tools, new software, automation or another approach makes sense.

03

Project & delivery support

Help bring structure to technology work that is unclear, stalled or difficult to coordinate — including requirements, planning, vendors, business/technical teams and delivery decisions.

04

AI, automation & prototyping

Explore where AI or automation may genuinely help, test ideas with practical prototypes, and determine whether the approach is useful before making a larger commitment.

Opportunity Sprint

Before committing to a larger project

What is an Opportunity Sprint?

It's a short, focused paid engagement — typically 1–2 weeks, depending on the problem and access to the necessary people and information. It's intended to turn an unclear technology problem or idea into a practical decision.

At the end, you'll receive a concise Opportunity Brief covering: Problem, Current State, Findings, Options, Recommendation and Next Actions.

You decide what happens next. You can act on the recommendation yourself, take it to another provider, decide not to proceed, or ask What Up to help deliver it. Any substantial implementation work is defined as a separate engagement.

The initial conversation is free. The Opportunity Sprint is paid — scope and pricing are agreed before the Sprint begins, not published here. There is no obligation to hire What Up for implementation afterward: you can proceed internally, use another provider, ask What Up to help deliver, or stop. Start with the problem, not the technology.
